On Sunday we had a big day for our first group of customers in the 2010 Tour de France!
Indeed, they got to ride on the stage route of the day, from our hotel in Antwerp towards the stage finish in Brussels. Even though this is already quite special in itself, we didn't stop there to offer them an experience they'll never forget!
Once we arrived in Brussels, they got to cross the finish line and -as real champions- get on the podium to make sure to get a souvenir picture of this important event!
When we got off the podium, we visited the technical and media area of the Tour de France where we were shown around by one of the representatives of the organisation working directly with us. He also took care of getting us a good viewing location in this area immediately afterwards: we were standing only 2 meters from the finish line!!
There, we first got to see the Belgian King (see the picture) before we saw
Alessandro Petacchi cross the finish line first, thus taking the stage win and the green jersey!
The day was made complete when we assisted to the official ceremony where we saw the different jerseys being handed out!
